FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to get permits?

No permits are required for the line of work we are conducting. If it is determined that a new backflow preventer or fire hydrant is needed, we will advise you on the next step.
Is backflow inspection required?

For High Hazard systems such as pools and most restaurant equipment with water lines, it is required by City of Austin and most Central Texas jurisdictions to have backflow valves tested annually.
What is the AHJ Report?

Your property has one official Water Provider. All backflow testing required by your provider requires a report submitted that is completed and submitted by Flowman on your behalf as part of our service. Many Water Providers require these reports be submitted via 3rd party vendors. These costs are typical $10-$40
Do you offer on-site repair and re-test?

Yes, If a device is not passing on the initial inspection we can open it and attempt a same visit repair and retest.
How much does it cost for a consultation?

Phone consultations are at no charge.
Do you offer a warranty on your work?

Due to inability to monitor or control what makes its way through the water source we cannot warranty any parts or service.
